FULTIUM®-D3 800 contains 800 IU (20 µg) of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), in the form of a small soft gelatin capsule. Cholecalciferol is the natural form of vitamin D3.
The most common cause of vitamin D3 deficiency is too little synthesis of vitamin D3 by the skin due to insufficient exposure to the sun due to seasonal variations, lack of outdoor activities or wearing clothes. covering the whole body.
In addition, the vitamin D3 production capacity of our skin decreases with age and in people with dark skin. Babies, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women also have an increased need for vitamin D3.
